I don't know what to make of things right now.
But I’m just thankful for every single bit I’m getting. I hope this does continue to progress, somewhere, somehow. I’m gonna keep praying and I’m gonna keep trying.

nadapasa asked: Jon! I miss you buddy! I've read some of your post about your experiences so far as a nursing student and I just wanted to say that I am so proud of you :)

In all its integrity,
maybe it will find its way back.  Things may not look that way right now, but I know miracles happen.

Maybe I am wasting my time.
Maybe I’m not. I really can’t read you and I don’t want to ask anything anymore because of your indecisive nature. See, these things are the reasons why I’m trying to keep my guard up. Yet at the same time, I’ve been pretty compliant with your efforts to initiate and I’ve decided to “go with the flow” as far as how it’s been coming along...

So I made sure that I’d practice.. That way by the time I’d take you to my house, I could impress you… Because if I recall correctly, I didn’t tell you I played piano until I’d surprise you right then...

Note to self:
Lactulose isn’t used just to treat constipation. For patients with LIVER PROBLEMS, it draws out the ammonia for them and into the colon so they can poop it out.. Whereas if they had no liver problems, their liver would be able to get rid of the ammonia. Normal ammonia levels are 11-35 mg/dL at Kaiser. So when giving lactulose, see what they’re actually getting it for. Why did the...
