You guys obviously know already how tons of stores are closing down from the economic crisis. Well here’s a little hypothesis I came up with today..
If we stop buying stuff off of the internet and start buying stuff from the actual stores themselves, then not as many stores would have to close down.
Then what about the online stores? Won’t they have to close down? Maybe, but maybe not. See, the thing is that online stores require A LOT less labor to maintain than commercial stores. It’s more of a loss for the economy when our local stores have to close down because that just makes less jobs available. It’s as simple as that.
The point I’m actually trying to make here is that we should watch our online shopping habits. (don’t actually stop buying from online retail lol) There could always be a chance that something you want, that you THINK is only available online— is actually in stock in a shop near you. Seriously, shipping fees are retarded. Just go ahead and buy it at the store. You don’t have to wait for robots to get your stuff and pack it up for shipment. You don’t have to pay for shipping fees and wait for your package to get delivered. You can pick it up yourself at the store near you.
btw I’m still waiting for my hoodie to come from czech republic that i blew almost 60 bucks on :D
